Parents view:

“I’d like to say a huge thank you to all of the staff at Cheeky Cherubs for all of their support during my daughters [aged 20 months] first year with them. From day one we have been kept updated with her progress through conversations, notes in her book and via her online profile.

“The staff in tadpoles room have been absolutely amazing – especially on the mornings where she has had the odd wobble, or days when she’s felt under the weather. I wholeheartedly recommend Cheeky Cherubs Day Nursery. It is big and busy (which can seem daunting at the start) but they are fantastic with their routines and the opportunities they provide the children are second to none. I’m pleased that my daughter will have at least another year at Cheeky Cherubs before pre school as she absolutely loves it there. Thanks again!”

Observation and Assessment

Cheeky Cherubs tickling curriculumWe assess how young children are learning and developing by observing them frequently.

We believe that parents know their children best and we ask them to contribute to assessment, sharing information about what their children like to do at home and how parents are supporting development.

We have frequent parent drop-in sessions throughout the year and also provide parents with monthly reports using our electronic learning journey assessment software, 2BuildaProfile. Staff use the software to record observations and photograph each child’s activities. This information is complied into a report which is emailed to parents once a month, allowing them to comment or contribute to the observations.
