Newts is for children aged from 3 to 5 years old.
Newts have their own room in the nursery. This room is specifically designed for children of this age group. The emphasis is on learning through play and practical experiences as we believe these are the key means by which a child explores the world and makes links in their understanding. You can read more about the rooms and facilities at Cheeky Cherubs on our rooms page. Newts also have the opportunity to participate in a number of extra activities including growing flowers and vegetables in our allotment, sports day, swimming lessons, a Christmas play trips and days out. At the end of the Newts time at nursery they have a leavers barbecue.
